Research

As with finding a keyword for your campaign, you can also put in some research to come up with a good headline and description for your adverts. The first thing you need to do is to get a good idea of what it is about your product that people find most appealing. You need to have a good idea of how other people see your brand, why you are successful and what's holding you back.

The better you know yourself and your business, the better you are likely to know your own USP, your own value proposition and also the things that are holding your customers back and causing them concern.

One way to find all this out is simply to ask: run a survey on your site and ask what it was that first attracted people to your business, or what it is they like most about your product. Ask them why they chose you over other brands and ask them what it was that nearly put them off before they made their first purchase. If you have a lot of visitors to your site you can do this fairly easily; if not you might want to provide an incentive (such as a competition) or potentially outsource the process to market research company (depending on your budget).

Note: If you aren't confident writing your own adverts, then you can outsource this process too. Look for a writer on UpWork (formerly oDesk), Elance, People Per Hour, Digital Point Forums, LinkedIn or Warrior Forum and you should find you can get ads written for you very cheaply.
